Applications:
In 16 independent 4-24 week trials, men over 18 years of age with impotence over 6 months were given doses between 10-200 mg. Compared with placebo, silde-nafil treatment resulted in significant improvements in erectile function, including frequency of penetration and duration of erection after penetration.

The rate of improvement in erectile function was 72% in the control group and 18% in the placebo group. In all cases, the effect was dose-dependent, with the greatest improvement occurring at doses above 100 mg. Responses were reduced by 40-60% in diabetics and prostatectomy patients, respectively. Withdrawal rates below 5% are associated with negative side effects and limited response rates.
