Brief Introduction:
Anastrozole is White or quasi white crystalline powder;Odorless and bitter. Soluble in acetonitrile or ethyl acetate, soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water. It is a potent and selective non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It can inhibit the transformation of androstenedione into estrone in the adrenal glands of postmenopausal patients, so as to significantly reduce the plasma level and inhibit the growth of breast tumors.
Application:
1. Third generation aromatase inhibitors.It's used to treat postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer.
2. This product is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, clinically used for the treatment of postmenopausal women with advanced metastatic breast cancer.
Function:
1. It is suitable for advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women who still cannot be controlled by tamoxifen and other anti- therapy.
2. Adjunctive treatment of early -positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
3. Consider the use of tamoxifen in receptor-negative patients who have a positive clinical response to tamoxifen.
